OUR HISTORY

 

MISSION STATEMENT:

 

"Our Mission is to present Christ to those local and abroad in such a way that it will bring about healing, deliverance, reconciliation, salvation, liberation, and bring about change in one's life both now and eternally."

 

VISION STATEMENT:

 

To offer and provide for the community and the people of God a worship center that moves them from the mainstream of “traditional religious church services on a weekly base” and usher them into the continual flow of kingdom praise, worship, and living on a daily base. 

 

 

Universal Deliverance Praise & Worship Center is committed to God and to the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

 

 

Our History

 

Universal Deliverance Praise & Worship Center began in the South Carolina area by the leading of the Holy Spirit.

 

The General Overseer, Apostle N. McCowan, spoke of a prophetic word into Apostle Corbett's life years before the ministry began. The prophetic word was, "You will began a ministry even if it has to be in a barn." The prophetic word was fulfilled many years later when, by the leading of the spirit of God, Apostle began the ministry in his back yard in a small building which had the very appearance of a barn.

 

The ministry after then began to grow. Every Sunday the building was packed. People came from every where. It came to the point where people were sitting out in the yard. It was at that time, and by the leading of the spirit, the ministry was moved into a larger building. Once again God was moving so powerfully and mighty that the building became to small.

 

Once again the ministry had to be moved into a larger building. We remained there until our recent move into yet a larger building.

 

The Lord began to deal with Apostle about a second location for the ministry. As a result of fasting, praying, and seeking the face of God, Apostle was lead to open a second ministry in Manning, SC. Furthermore, Apostle Corbett is the Overseer of Universal Deliverance Praise & Worship Center Ministries Uganda in Kampala, Uganda where Pastor B.  Sedrack is Pastor.

Our commitment to serve and worship God as He commands has made us who we are today.

 

 

Our Service

 

We are dedicated to serving God and His people as we are instructed and lead of His divine instructions, and our goal is 100% obedience to His will.

 

We strive to commit to His word and in ministering the gospel to the nation at any cost.

 

We are committed and dedicated to preaching salvation, liberation and justification to a nation of people who are lost and in captivity. Our goal is to present Christ to individuals in a way that will impact their lives forever.

Acts 20:28

Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which He hath purchased with His own blood.

 

* Repentance

 

 

Teaching of repentance and salvation according to the word of God.

II Corinthians 7:9-10

Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing.

For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

 

 

* Baptism

 

 

Teaching water baptism in Jesus name according to the word of God.

Acts 2:37-38

Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
